RECORD BREAKING WFOT CONGRESS
The WFOT Congress 2014 in Yokohama, Japan was attended by a total of 6893 participants from 70 countries worldwide.
A cross section of attendees included over 5,900 who were registered participants, approximately 350 who were local occupational therapy students who volunteered to support the Congress, and over 130 members of the general public who visited the exhibition and some sessions which were opened to the public.
The huge success of this Congress demonstrates the impact and influence of the occupational therapy profession worldwide.

The WFOT Congress 2014 was a huge event and a resounding success!
Occupational Therapists from all around the world came to Yokohama, Japan for the 16th International Congress of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists in collaboration with the 48th Japanese Occupational Therapy Congress and Expo, June 18 -21. Over 6,000 colleagues spent four days together, learning, sharing, networking and celebrating occupational therapy.
