Member Organisations are seated in Council with the Executive Management Team at the head.
The Council Meeting room is, wherever possible, usually within walking distance from the range of recommended accommodation options.
The Council Meeting table arrangement aims to achieve optimum communication among all participants, in a large rectangle, with the Executive at one end. Name cards and country, with their country flags, are displayed at each Delegate’s seating place.
Delegates will be seated at the Council Meeting table, alternates will be seated behind the Delegate. A designated seating area for Observers will be allocated.
A Council Meeting seating plan will be available prior to the meeting.
The meeting agenda and papers will be projected onto screens so that meeting attendees will be able to view clearly. Microphones will be provided for Delegates to speak to the meeting.
The meeting will be audio-recorded, as per WFOT procedures.
Delegates are requested to bring only essential requirements into the meeting room to facilitate the comfort of others, and circulation space within the room.
