At the beginning of the Council Meeting, the Delegates are welcomed by the President, introductions are made by Delegates, and Observers (not at the formal table) are introduced (Roll Call). Apologies; Call for Proxies; and Vales follow.
New Full Member Delegates are then presented with a WFOT pin in recognition of their membership of Council. The pin should be worn during the meeting and at any events where the WFOT Delegate attends in their official capacity and will remain the property of the Delegate.
General Announcements are made; then additional reports, other information, and the final agenda are provided to the Delegates, in electronic format. Past Council Meeting Minutes and Executive Management Team Meeting Agenda and Actions are reviewed and accepted. Elections may follow; then Admission of New Members. The meeting will then move onto receiving reports, followed by discussion and voting on specific agenda items. There will be time during the Council Meeting to meet in Programme groups.
Note: A Delegate is representing his/her country and national organisation; perhaps not always giving their own opinion. It is important to speak slowly and clearly. It is important to make your views known, so seek language assistance when you need it.
