The WFOT International Congress 2022 will be a hybrid event, enabling you to attend in-person or online.

Offering the full Congress experience, including presentations, access to exhibitors and networking opportunities to both in-person and virtual attendees simultaneously, a hybrid event offers attendees more choice and flexibility.

We strongly encourage those that can travel to Paris to attend in-person, to take advantage of the collegiality, networking opportunities and atmosphere that is unique to the International Congress. Your registration option of in-person or virtual attendance may be switched if requested at least one month prior to the Congress. Please note that such changes in attendance registration will be accepted on one occasion only.

Virtual attendance is offered to provide an opportunity for those who are not able to travel to participate in the Congress. WFOT is continuing to review the format of the virtual registration option which may be subject to change.

Low and Middle income economies: To qualify for the Low and Middle income economies rate, you must receive your main income from a country that is not classified as "high income" according to the World Bank classification.

Member rate: To qualify for the Member Rate, you must be an individual member of WFOT, or a member of a national association that is a member organisation of WFOT. Your membership status will be verified by the relevant Association. Click here for details of which national associations are WFOT members.

Student rate: The Student Rate applies to those who are a student at the time of registration, or abstract acceptance, or have a student card valid in 2022. Students are those studying in an entry level education programme to become an occupational therapist, or qualified occupational therapists who are undertaking full time doctoral studies or similar post entry level education. A valid document, i.e. student card or letters issued by the school/university/institution must accompany the student registration.

Early bird rates: Early bird rates are available prior to the deadline of 23 June 2022. Payment must be received prior to this date to qualify for the discounted rate.

Entitlements

In-person Full Registration entitles the Attendee to:

• All Congress sessions on 28-31 August 2022
• Refreshments each day
• Congress programme handbook, congress app and attendee materials
• Access to the Welcome Reception on 28 August 2022
• Online access to all programme sessions on-demand after the Congress dates for day's of your registration booking

In-person Day Registration entitles the Attendee to:

• All Congress sessions on the day of registration
• Refreshments on the day of registration
• Congress programme handbook and attendee materials
• Access to the Welcome Reception on 28 August 2022 (for Sunday and Monday registrations only)
• Online access to select programme sessions on-demand after the Congress dates

Virtual Full Registration entitles the Attendee to online access to:

• All Congress sessions streamed on 28-31 August 2022
• Connect with exhibitors
• Networking opportunities
• All programme sessions on-demand after the Congress dates

Virtual Day Registration entitles the Attendee to online access to:

• Congress sessions streamed on the day of registration
• Exhibitors on the day of registration and throughout the event
• Networking opportunities on the day of registration
• Select programme sessions on-demand after the Congress dates

Other events

In-person Full Congress and Day Registrations on the 28 August 2022 include admission to the Welcome Reception. Additional tickets will be available for an additional cost.

Congress Party costs are additional to Congress Registration. Attendees and their guests must purchase individual tickets to attend the Congress Party. Tickets will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Pre-Congress workshops and Education Day costs are additional to Congress Registration.

You can add other events to your Congress Registration, either at the time of registration or later by modifying your registration through your registration confirmation.

Payment

• All Congress payments must be received prior to the Congress
• All amounts are in Euro €
• Payment can be made via credit card or bank transfer. Details for payment via bank transfer will be provided on the invoice attached to your registration confirmation email once registration has been completed.
• After midnight 5 August 2022 (GMT +2, Paris time) all payments are by credit card only. Payment after 5 August 2022 cannot be made by bank transfer.

Letter of Invitation
