WFOT 2006 commenced with a series of pre-Congress workshops, held on Sunday 23 and Monday 24 July at Sydney’s University of Technology.
The workshops provided attendees with the opportunity to come together to explore a range of topics and issues relating to the application of OT research, and current and future applications of relevant models within the field of occupational therapy.

Many delegates took advantage of the opportunity to stop over in Malaysia on their way to the WFOT Congress, to attend a number of Pre-Congress workshops, staged by MOTA and the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
A two day event, the workshops were staged on from 20 to 21 July, and featured two streams, as follows:
